I met Sally at a networking event and immediately clicked with her and started chatting about a great holiday my husband and I wanted to take to California for my husband's 40th birthday. Sally's enthusiasm and knowledge was fantastic so we arranged a time to get together over lunch to go through my ideas more thoroughly. Sally made the process so easy and made me aware of so many things and huge benefits of booking with her and Travel Counsellors. Within a few days Sally came back to me with a draft itinerary and a selection of accommodations for us to choose from. We tweaked a couple of things and Sally was adamant that we tweaked every little detail to ensure that we got it just spot on, it didn't matter how many times we went back to her. She even managed to save us around £600 just by flying a day earlier! Nothing was too much trouble for her and the whole process was completely stress free and so easy. I can't recommend Sally highly enough - I doubt I'll ever book a holiday any other way now!

When you go on holiday, you want it to be as stress-free as possible. When you're booking that holiday, it would be nice if that was just as stress free. Fortunately, asking Sally Willars to help organise our recent holiday in Orlando, the booking process became just that - stress-free. Sally patiently listened to our requirements and came up with a great package of flight / villa / car hire and theme park tickets, we were also helped with our travel insurance - a must if travelling to America. At each point Sally gave us the full details we needed, made changes if they were requested, told us why certain cheaper options on the Internet weren't the offer they seemed (Not noticing one airline charging extra for baggage was a bit embarrassing for us!) and all done in a friendly manner despite the seemingly never-ending questions we seemed to have for her. The holiday was amazing, Orlando is such a magical place made even more wonderful when you know you have nothing to worry about. The flights were as good as a 9-hour flight could be with the five children we were travelling with never being bored. The villa was superb being roomy enough that we felt comfortable to stay there during the day and not be on top of each other (not easy when there are eight of you) and the whole two weeks is something we will remember for an awful long time. Already recommended twice this week! Sally Willars is a super star: I am so happy with my booking and can't wait to go away. We took a holiday when I was a month pregnant, 18 months later we are only just booking our next holiday. This holiday means a lot to us. We are really ready for a nice break, coupled with the fact we were being rather particular with our new addition. My wife and I wanted to book a week's holiday to Kefalonia in Greece, so we turned to Sally Willars at Travel Counsellors to organize the trip for us. The place we chose to stay was one that Sally has vast experience of, so that was a particular bonus to us with the booking. Sally promptly gave us some different options and some good advice regarding proximity to the town centre etc. We chose our option and the booking was made swiftly. We were even given a home-made hand-drawn map of the town showing the best places to eat. The holiday itself was superb in a great location and we had a great time. We would certainly like to go back one day too. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sally Willars for all your travel needs, taking the pain out of finding a holiday. We all spend too much time of our own trawling through various internet sites, not knowing what we are looking at, so it's a total no brainer that you would ask an experienced agent to do all that for you, plus giving you good recommendations at the same time. I would like to thank Sally Willars of Travel Counsellors for the excellent holiday she arranged for our 8 night city break to St. Petersburg, Russia. Normally I spend hours trawling the internet for hotels and flights. With going to Russia I thought it would be best to use a travel expert. I'm so pleased we did, as Sally made everything so easy for us. From the information I provided Sally she suggested 5 appropriate hotels for us to pick from. Once picked she booked this and the flights. Sally also assisted us with the visas and other documentation for this. As an Independent Financial Advisor I find I really need my holidays to ensure the stress levels are kept at bay. In fact I like to book my holidays as soon as I return from a previous holiday. A big thank you to Sally Willars of Travel Counsellors for helping me organise my husband's birthday treat. I always have the best intentions but normally run out of time to organise anything special, so this year I decided to put it in the hands of an expert. Sally took the time to understand my requirements and preferences and then went away and did all the time consuming research, coming back with a great short-list of destinations - all of which hit the spot. Importantly what I got was not just a list of hotels but also some suggestions as to what to expect in the area, things to do and importantly places to eat and drink. All I had to do was make the decision and turn up at the hotel. Thankfully my boys managed to keep the secret from Dad so the first he knew was when I told him to pack an overnight bag the night before. The weekend was perfect - somehow Sally even managed to book sunshine in October too! Thanks to Sally I now have enough brownie points to last me until Christmas and a very happy man. Sally offers a truly personal service and I would recommend her to anyone looking to organise that special weekend away in the UK or further afield.

I have not had to book much in the way of business travel previously, and any flights I have managed to book myself directly. However, Sally Willars has made three business travel bookings for me recently, the third of which was a last-minute, challenging trip to Russia. Sally responded to my enquiry speedily, obtained various flight options for me, and the enquiry even included a complicated visa application, which she also assisted with expediently and willingly. She went the ‘extra mile’, personally delivering the tickets and she also arranged an internal train journey between two Russian cities. Owing to the last-minute nature of the booking, she also arranged for the train tickets to be sent directly to me by courier, as it was not possible to travel with e-tickets. To complete the booking, she even did the on-line checking-in for outbound and inbound flights. It seems to me that this is the kind of service (and better!) that one used to be able to expect from a travel agent prior to the days of internet booking. I recommend Sally Willars to you, as nothing appears to be too much trouble. She is very patient when it is necessary to keep referring back to her for revised itinerary. I would not hesitate to approach Sally in the future to assist me with any business travel arrangements which I cannot easily book myself.

After deciding go away for my wife’s birthday, rather than having to trawl through various travel booking websites, we turned to Sally Willars, Travel Counsellor for her help. We gave Sally our criteria for our holiday and she promptly came back with options, with some good recommendations. We then could not decide on which option to go for and then changed our criteria. Sally obliged with no problem and gave us some further options to look at. We decided to change our criteria again, but Sally came back without a problem and booked the break we were looking for and the confirmation was received in a flash. After all her hard work in finding us a break, we even received a thank you card from her for the booking, which I think was a great touch. I wanted to write and thank Sally Willars and Travel Counsellors for finding us our perfect holiday. We needed somewhere warm, somewhere with a pool, somewhere close to a beach, somewhere in a nice quiet resort, somewhere with a kids club and somewhere that matched our budget. We wanted all this despite going away during the school summer holiday. Sally recommended a number of possibilities and when we had to change the dates slightly for family reasons, meaning some of the original resorts weren't available due to flights, Sally found us several more. In the end we chose the Dassia Chandris Hotel in Corfu which included all that we asked for. As well as booking our flights and hotels, Sally helped us with all our other queries contacting the hotel on our behalf on a couple of occasions and answering questions about the airline. We also needed to sort out travel insurance and last-minute parking at the airport, neither of which was an issue for Sally who arranged it all. Sally even e-mailed us on the day of departure to wish us a pleasant trip and gave us a mobile number she could be contacted on if there were any issues. The holiday went without any problems and we enjoyed a relaxing break in perfect surroundings. We are already arranging another trip with Sally and recommend anyone who is looking to go away for business or pleasure to talk to Sally and find exactly what they are looking for. I asked Sally to help with a short stays and 2 games of golf for myself and a friend. I suggested some venues and after she had looked into these she suggested another venue with better accommodation and golf course. Sally could not have done more to help and advise me.
